Book of Hours | Khuldabad

For National Geographic Traveller India (March 2015) © Amruta Patil
My last column was about Khuldabad, where lies the tomb of the disliked-by-modern-consensus Aurangzeb, Emperor whose name is now an adjective for things one fears in a leader. I found his resting place far more moving than the funerary ostentations of his family members. Reminder to dismiss none, specially not the despicable. To view other installments of Book of Hours:  http://amrutapatil.blogspot.fr/search/label/Book%20of%20Hours
